My face is going nuts again. It’s broken out in red patches that I would just diiiieeee to itch (but am trying desperately not to), and it’s pissing me off big time. Don’t know what set off the allergic reaction again, but I know it’s one of two things: it’s either the L’oreal facescrub I picked up to clean my face with two nights ago (which I’ve never used before), or the fact that the sleeping pills I’ve been taking to help me sleep lately is not agreeing with me.
I’ll be happy to have a dirty unwashed face and not be able to fall asleep at night if the damn redness and itch would just go away.
Thank goodness, Big Brother is finally finishing its run in Australia tonight. We can all heave a big sigh of relief that television will hopefully resume to its normal broadcasting behaviour soon – oh wait. What was I thinking? There’s going to be some girl named Yasmin trying to find her soulmate and hopefully getting hitched with *gasp*, all of Australia’s help! On television! In the timeslot that BB06’s in now! For the next 8 – 9 weeks or so! I can’t wait!
Not!
Just read this article, and must say, I’m rather miffed by how some people can be such idiots. What’s wrong with taking photos of scenery/objects other than obvious statues and landmarks?
“It was just the facades of buildings, things that would be of no interest to put in a photo album.”
OH PLEASE.
I was an architecture student, and I must be such a weirdo to actually take an interest in the facades of buildings. Incidentally, I have photos of the facades of several buildings around Melbourne, including the Commonwealth Law Courts.
Students and photographers find everyday objects and details so much more interesting to capture on film. And one can find beauty in the most unexpected things. Can you tell I’m miffed? I don’t frequent the Southgate areas to take photos very often, but I’ll be sure to make a conscious effort not to visit there anytime soon.
Halfway through moving the blog entries from my domain over to WP.com, I find out that you can actually import files from WP.org over to WP.com. Problem is, there’s so little documentation and help on the issue, it’s doing my head in. Most of the stuff I’ve read on the forums and the support sites seem to agree that there’s plugins and apps that you can use to import the XML or WXR (WP extended RSS) files over here, but they’re all only capable with WP2.0 and not WP1.5 (which is what I’m on). And since I’m moving the blog over here, I’m not about to muck around with upgrading to 2.0.
Oh wells, long story short, I’ve moved all entries over here now. So hurrah!
In other news,I’ve also managed to sell enough dolly stuff to pay for another year of Flickr pro goodness. *beams*
