I’m heading out to lunch with two of my colleagues soon-ish. God knows I’ve fobbed them off for long enough now. It just seemed like everytime someone mentions about going out for supper or drinks after work, I’m always unavailable. Sometimes, it’s really the case, but other times, I’m just plain disinterested. No shite. They’re nice enough people, and very genuine folk, but outside of work, I always tend to think we’re short on common interests.
Maybe I’m just anti-social.
Anyhoos. It’s going to be lunch at Crystal Jade today. So if there’s any awkward moments, I won’t even have to pretend to enjoy the food since it’s always great food there. Hur hur. One of them’s finally leaving the toystore for (hopefully) greener pastures after two years, so I guess this is sort of a send-off lunch.
Who knows? I might even be able to squeeze in a few minutes of Blythe shopping beforehand!
